Efforts for security, uplift in Balochistan to continue: COAS

The Pakistan Army will continue assisting for the security and development of Balochistan, said Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Gen Bajwa made these remarks during his visit to Turbat and Gwadar on the second day of Eid where he met and greeted the locals.
“The armed forces fulfilling their responsibilities in far-flung areas is commendable. We will keep rendering our duties with vigour and zeal,” said COAS, according to a statement issued by the ISPR
“All development projects under way in Balochistan will be completed on time,” he added.
Gen Bajwa also met the family of Major Jamal Sheran who embraced martyrdom when militants targeted the paramilitary Frontier Corps in Hayatabad on July 17.
On Saturday, COAS spent the first day of Eid in Rajgal Valley with the troops securing Pak-Afghan border.
